Motto
Learn it, Live it, Love it
Learn to play the game
Live by the values the game instills
Love what we do and those who do it with us
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide opportunities for young athletes to learn and compete in the sport of volleyball.
Goals
1. Keep the best interests of our athletes as our top priority with their health and safety taking precedence over all else.
2. Have an experienced and well trained Head Coaching Staff who will consistently teach proper technique and skills while keeping themselves up to date in our ever evolving sport.
3. Strive to do all we can to reach our highest potential.
History
The concept for Fusion Volleyball Club was created during a team bonding event. It was a thought tossed around a dinner table to make a club that was all their own. The name and colors of the club were thought of. The morals and principles were discussed, however It was put on the shelf for a better time. Two years later the opportunity for Coach Tony, Barret and Henry to build the Pioneer High School program came along. We had a great first season with great athletes and families. At the end of the season, we asked our kids about club volleyball. That question lead to blank stares and myriad other questions. Coach Barret and Tony brushed off the idea for Fusion Volleyball Club and put it into action. We started with one team filled with all the girls that wanted to play. Now going into our sixth year, our coaching family has grown to include Coach Erik, Ryan, Lauren, Aileen, Natalie, April, and Diana. Our club now also includes families from schools all around the area that comprises six teams. Our history is growing and we hope that we continue to grow with our core values intact.
The Dream
Herb Brooks(1980 USA Hockey Coach) once said "We should be dreaming. We grew up as kids having dreams, but now we're too sophisticated as adults and as a nation. We stopped dreaming. We should always have dreams." Fusion Volleyball Club has a dream. We hope to open a facility all our own. A facility that will open up a different world of possibilities for both our athletes and our families.
